Course description

How to open and document your nonprofit organizations is one of the most important areas often left alone by financial institutions. Your institution's written procedures should include how to run Customer Identification Programs, Customer Due Diligence and risk rate all the various nonprofit organizations that those at the front line might open. This program is designed to help develop those procedures, to look at the hard questions that customers ask and to keep your institution from permitting misuse of these accounts. During this program we will look at these various types of organizations and how to set up the account for compliance with CIP and CDD:

  • Nonprofit Corporations
  • Memorial, Tragedy and Benefit Accounts
  • Campaign Accounts
  • Small informal nonprofits-high school reunions, family reunions and civic groups
  • Large formal nonprofits-churches, associations and civic groups
